winter is back. in milwaukee.

Winter is definitively back in Milwaukee/Wisconsin. Yesterday at night the sky was clear and today we had got several inches of fresh fluffy snow again. So much for the kiting plans ;)

At least work is going really good, found out about a strange “behaviour” of mcafee enterprise AV 8.x – since that piece of software was running on the (windows) server I wanted to install typo3 on it prevented the database process to create temp-files bigger then ~100kB (without any reason: they weren’t even created in the standard system temp-folder). So simple database transactions succeeded and other ones just died without leaving usable traces in the error logs. Added the database temp-dir to the exception list (after several hours of debugging) and the system works like a breeze now.
